The Boyle family of Kelburn originated in Caen, Normandy, and came to Britain with William the Conqueror in 1066. The Boyle family have been in possession of the lands of Kelburn since the 12th century.

In 1977 the historic castle estate was opened to the public, with the 18th century Home Farm becoming a visitor centre, cafe, and exhibition area. In the grounds is a late Victorian museum displaying objects brought back from New Zealand by the 7th Earl of Glasgow after his tenure as Governor. Glasgow Paranormal Investigations have been lucky enough to be allowed access to investigate a number of the properties within this area. Hopefully the team and members of the public will capture some evidence that will give more insight into who the boy and man apparitions sighted are and why one specific area creates so much fear when entering.

We hope you will be brave enough to join the team for a one night investigation of Kelburn Country Estate to raise money for an amazing cause Ayrshire Sportsibility
